Businesses are becoming more social nowadays. Marketers and business owners are now learning to utilize social platforms in order to improve their marketing campaigns to reach more customers. Most business owners are now learning how to use social platforms like Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter to drive ROI, build communities around their brand, and improve brand development.

In Social Media Examiner’s latest study, Social Media Marketing Industry Report, it surveyed over 3,800 marketers and business owners on how they intend to leverage social media in 2012. World View Editing has created an infographic that features key points in the study.

  • 30 percent of businesses are outsourcing some portion of their social media marketing (up from 28 percent in 2011)
  • More than half of all marketers spend 6 hours or more each week using social media, while a third invest 11 or more hours
